BIOGRAPHY
From appearances in numerous television programs and
films to starring roles in hot Latin musicals to performing
his stand-up routine around the country, Rich Ramirez
is one of the hardest working comics in the business.
Rich has appeared on over twenty national and cable
television comedy shows. He's been cast in "Law
and Order", "One Life to Live" and A&E's
"American Humor: What's So Funny?" His film
debut was in "Punchline" with Tom Hanks and
Sally Field.On the stage Rich has co-hosted "Latin
Madness", the highly acclaimed Latin Dance Musical,
for 3 years and also co-starred in the hit musical revue
"Latin Fever" at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic
City, New Jersey.
In terms of stand-up, Rich has performed at more than
175 colleges and opened for such recording artists as
George Benson, Jon Secada, Jose Feliciano, and the Temptations
& The Four Tops. Along with Chris Ryan and Herb
Quiñones, Rich founded the "SalSoul Comedy
Troupe". This twelve year-old venture has allowed
Rich to nurture his writing, producing and comedic acting
skills.
Audience members have commented that some of Rich's
work reminds them of Jerry Lewis. His charisma and his
love of comedy help Rich connect with any audience.
They may be strangers in the beginning but at the end
of his routine, his audience will be both friends and
admirers and will have shared in a gift...the gift of
laughter.
